Recovering from a fall in the previous year, the entertainment and media market in the UK will grow by as much as four per cent, up to 2014.
Thanks to the large expansion of internet use, a resurgence for the advertising industry, and the upsurge in mobile shopping, a rise is predicted for 2010.
This is expected to increase further between 2012 and 2013.
The latest PricewaterhouseCoopers Global Entertainment & Media Outlook, goes on to state that by this time; the figure worth $73 billion in 2009, will hit a peak of $88 billion by 2014.
Head of Entertainment & Media at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Phil Stokes, said:
"The recession has not slowed the ever advancing digital transformation or the rapid consumer uptake of new media experiences."
