Dragon's Den Deborah Meaden is launching a nationwide search for Britain’s smartest small business.
She's teamed up with other experts who'll be looking for a business who are doing something innovative, unique using efficient ethical operating practices or making a special contribution to their community.
Those chosen will then be interviewed and showcased on a
website to inspire others and learn from their experiences.
If you want to be considered you must be a privately owned business, trading in the UK and employ fewer than 50 people.
The winner will be announced in February 2010 when an exclusive event will be held for the final list.
Meaden said "Discovering great new businesses is a passion of mine as is encouraging businesses to think and work better".
