If you want to get your Mr Site email on your iPad, then just follow these instructions:
1) Tap ‘Mail’ if this is the first email account you’ve added to your iPad; otherwise, tap ‘Settings’ on the home screen, followed by ‘Mail, contacts, calender’. Then select ‘Add account’.
2) Tap the ‘Other’ option.
3) Select ‘Add mail account’ and then fill in the details in the screen that comes up – your name, the email address, password and a description of the account you’ve added (i.e ‘work’). Tap ‘Next’.
4) You will now be asked to select whether the account is ‘IMAP’ or ‘POP’. Tap‘POP’.
5) Fill in the details about your Incoming Mail Server, which allows you to receive emails that have been sent to you. It should look like this:
6) Your Outgoing mail server allows you to send emails. You will be asked for your host name – you need to check with your wireless or mobile provider what this is.
7) When you have filled in these details tap next.
8) If you receive a message saying, ‘Can not verify server identity’ tap ‘details’ and then ‘accept’.
Once you have completed the above steps, go back to your ‘Home’screen and then tap ‘Settings’. Select ‘Mail, Contacts, Calenders’ and then tap on the email account you have just added.
Where it says ‘Outgoing Mail Server’ tap ‘SMPT’ – this stands for Simple Mail Transfer Protocol and allows the Mr Site system to send your emails from the iPad.
Then tap ‘On’ next to ‘Server’. Turn ‘Use SSL’ off and fill in 110 as your Server Port number.
Finally, tap Done/Verify. You are now set up to receive email on your iPad.
