Mr Site community

The Mr Site Team have just recently added the 'Invert background colour' tool to the system. This quick and easy tool allows you to change the background temporarily from white to black - perfect if your website has white or light grey text.

To use this new Mr Site feature, simply log into your Mr Site account and click on Option 3 - Change Content.

You may have noticed some great new features in the Mr Site system, including a Favicon creation tool, a Twitter widget, an editable Contact Form, website preview capabilities and much, much more.

New to Mr Site is the Google Maps widget. With this tool you can easily add a map to either the sidebar or main content area of your website. Perfect for showing customers where your business is located. To add a Google Map to your website, click on Extras, Add Widgets, select the page you would like your Google Map on and follow the onscreen instructions.

You can now change the listing order of the items on your online shop pages and the images in your photo galleries. This new option allows you to list your newest shop items, or images at the top of the page and not just the bottom.

To find this feature, edit your online shop or gallery and look for the option at the bottom of the page before you save it.

We want you to recognise a fake or fraudulent email if you receive one. We will never send you an email containing an attachment. These attachments may contain viruses and should be deleted. Remember NEVER to share your Mr Site log on details. We will never send you an unsolicited email asking for them. We will never contact you unexpectedly to ask for your personal account information - if you get an email out of the blue or a phone call asking for this information, a fraudster is at work.

We will no longer be giving out passwords over the phone unless you satisfy Mr Site's increased security procedures. Similar to telephone banking, we will ask you some questions, you will then need to provide us with the correct answer(s) so remember to keep your personal details fully up to date (log in, go to option 5 Extra's, then option 3 Admin, then Option G Personal Details)

After months of work, our team have introduced horizontal menus into all of our templates designs. Whether you've just started your Mr Site website or you've had your website online for years, you can now move your menu from the side of your pages to the top! To change your website's menu position, simply click on 'Change Design' (Option 1) on the Main Options Page, pick the same design (or a new one) and change the 'Menu Position' Option from 'Vertical' to 'Horizontal'.

Tired of the look and feel of your website? You can update your website's design at any time by 'Change Design' (Option 1) on the Main Options Page. We've added three new designs, which you can find in our list of website designs; 'Sharp Black 2', 'Flower Hint' & 'Betaki'. .
